Consultation

Your treatment journey begins with a free consultation at one of our Lineups centres or affiliated provider clinics. The consultation will be conducted by our treatment coordinators who will speak with you about what you want to achieve from treatment, any concerns you have, and whether the Lineups treatment is right for you. Now, onto the fun stuff!

Scan

Our treatment coordinators will use a 3D intra-oral scanner to create 3D digital images of your teeth. This process is completely digital and takes up to 3,000 photos, ensuring high-level accuracy for us and total comfort for you. You will also be presented with a fun visual animation of your teeth!

Design

The digital model of your teeth coupled with carefully analysed x-rays will be used to analyse your teeth and bite, so we can recommend the best course of treatment for you to get the smile you’ll love. This will be presented by our dentists in an personalised treatment plan, where we’ll walk you through the details and how long your treatment will take.

Manufacture

Once you approve your treatment plan, you’re one step closer to your perfect smile! Lineups will manufacture your custom-made invisible aligners in our Melbourne facility, and deliver your first phase of aligners within days. No more waiting to start your treatment!

Wear your aligners

Each set of aligners is typically worn for 10–14 days. Although these are removable aligners, they need to be worn for at least 22 hours a day to achieve the best results. This means you should wear your aligners all the time, except while eating and brushing your teeth. To ensure your progress is on track, and to avoid delays in your treatment, we will typically issue you with 3-4 sets of aligners at each appointment and perform a review every 6 weeks.

Smile

After completing your treatment, your straight teeth will be maintained using our free set of retainers. This retention phase begins immediately after your treatment as your teeth are vulnerable to movement, since the tissues and bones are temporarily softened. From here on out, all that’s left to do is enjoy your brand new smile!
